SAVE THE DATE: Angola’s Got Talent

Mark your calendars for 6 PM on Saturday June 14, 2025 for a night of entertainment at the first annual Angola’s Got Talent. Held at Trine University’s T. Furth Center for Performing Arts, Angola’s Got Talent is a new fundraiser for Cahoots Community Center and will be featuring Steuben County performers. The program will begin at 6:00 PM as contestants in both a youth (18 and under) and adult category put their best foot forward for a chance to win cash prizes and a featured performance at Music Americana. A panel of local judges will be providing feedback and choosing the night’s winners.

If you would like to perform at Angola’s Got Talent and compete for a cash prize, be sure to start working on your short, family friendly act now. We will have more information in the coming weeks on how to audition, but it’s never too early to begin working on your act. Last year, contestants included bands, singers, instrumentalists, dancers, and comedians. In other words, if you are good at what you do, we would love for you to audition.

Angola’s Got Talent is a fundraiser for Cahoots Community Center. Cahoots Community Center is an independent non-profit providing a safe and non-threatening environment for enrichment and socialization of youth. Youth and adults can just hang out, participate in an open mic or game night, play pool and Foosball, and meet with friends. Cahoots' space is a safe environment for all. Located in downtown Angola, Cahoots Coffee Cafe is “a safe space for youth to thrive.”
